LSCAD is a research laboratory founded in 2010.
It is part of the Faculty of Computing (FACOM). We are situated at the campus of Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) in Campo Grande – MS – Brazil.
Our work focuses on improving computing systems’ performance and efficiency by optimizing algorithm implementation, developing new devices, and integrating existing technologies.
Efficient Computer Systems can save energy, time, or both and are the most critical requirement in today’s applications, which are more demanding in computing resources day after day.
The laboratory conducts research in the area of Computer Systems, more specifically in:
- Computer Organization and Architecture;
- CPU and GPU High Performance Processing;
- Nanocomputing and Computational Nanotechnology;
- Digital Circuits;
- Embedded Systems;
- Hardware Design;
- Control and Automation;
